Lord, Remember "ME"

In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. 11 And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.” (1 Samuel 1:10-11)
Years and years of heartache and pain was completely turned around the moment Hannah uttered the phrase... "LORD REMEMBER "ME". At a very pivotal period in her life, ALAS..... breakthrough happened! God heard her desperate cry and responded. She was nearing the point of an emotional breakdown, when suddenly... an epiphany; God is never obligated to move, act, or respond to anything outside of His WILL or outside of His PLAN!
Life Application:
God had a plan to bless His people with a great leader! This leader would be the last of a long line of Hebrew Judges and the first of a distinctive list of Prophets who would speak in the land of God's chosen people for years and years to come. He would be so great, that God would use his hands to anoint KINGS! There was NO WAY God was going to sow the seed, that would be named Samuel, into a "FREE-WILLED" womb!
Life-Buffering ended for Hannah the day she conformed her will to God's WILL. When Hannah cried out, "Lord Remember Me!" she literally said to God, "I am NOW ready to 'BE' Samuel's Mother, just like you preordained 'ME' to be!"
Sometimes we run ahead of God, becoming something other than what He envisioned. Desiring even good things for the wrong reasons. And then we wonder, why isn't God responding to me? We should stop and ask ourselves this question; "Does God REMEMBER 'ME' or am I a stranger to Him?

It took her a minute, but eventually Hannah was recognizable again. I imagine when Hannah said, "Lord remember me", God's response was..., "Yes Hannah, I remember you, how could I ever forget you.... I created you to give birth to my Prophet Samuel!"
Be encouraged today.... its not that God is against you, or doesn't hear you. No... not at all. Sometimes when God doesn't move for you, its because He is patiently waiting on YOU. The REAL YOU. The one He created before the earth was framed.
Prayer: Lord, if my life has strayed off path, please led me back on track. I want to be the 'ME' you created me to be. May my life line up with your perfect will. I am your servant. Please Lord, REMEMBER 'ME'.
In Jesus Name...AMEN.
