DAY 1
Hello family...
Last night Saran and I began 21 days of taking communion and prayer together with our family. Throughout these 21 days we hope to draw nearer to the Lord and shape this new year for His glory as we set our focus completely on serving Him. Our family devotional Bible verse was Acts 4:12 NIV.
“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved."
We talked about how this verse encouraged us to understand that saving grace is only a byproduct of putting our trust and confidence in the finished works of Jesus Christ and not on anyone else...which includes ourselves. We remembered Jesus by giving the Father thanks that the burden of our sins had been lifted the moment we called upon the name of Jesus!
We are hopeful that you will decide to take this 21 day journey with us. We are confident that this time of fellowship with your family and communion with the Lord will strengthen and bless your new year!

DAY 2
Greetings Family!!!!

In day two of our family communion and devotion experience we discussed John 6:35 NLT
​
"35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
​
As we gathered to take the Lord's Supper we remembered Jesus as the Sacrificial Lamb of Satisfaction. Meaning, that when we live our life "in Him" we are satisfied completely! This is what the Word means when it says... never hunger...never thirst...AGAIN! Oh what a life! To live satisfied! No longer being a puppet to the high's and low's of life! And it's all because of Jesus!

May we all celebrate Jesus as the Bread of Life...the Sacrificial Lamb of Satisfaction!

DAY 3-5
Greetings family!
​
Wow... what an awesome 5 days of fellowship my family and I have had. Over the last 2 nights we shared the honor of leading the devotional time before communion. On Sunday night First Lady blessed us with words from John 6:53-56 KJV. And on Monday night my amazingly anointed daughter encouraged us from John 15:1-5 NKJV.

Last night it was my turn again and I was led to John 3:16-18 MSG. It reads,
“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him."
What a liberating couple of verses!!!! We focused mainly on verse 18 when it talks about condemnation. We celebrated Jesus because He has forever broken the power of shame and condemnation over our lives! I believe it to be a natural reaction of humans to condemn others and even themselves when they fall short. We saw it in the lives of Adam and Eve. They fell. They missed the mark. And then they immediately hid. That's condemnation! That's shame! But that's not the Spirit of Jesus! He is not an accuser...but an encourager for everyone who will only trust Him! The Blood never points the condemning figure of shame at us, but rather opens wide its beautiful arms of forgiveness and righteousness. Hallelujah and thank you Jesus!

As we drank and eat from the table of our Lord and Savior last night, we remembered Jesus by thanking the Father for lifting the burden of shame and condemnation through the resurrection of His Son!
